Professor Patricia Connolly is the Founder and CEO of Ohmedics and Professor of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Strathclyde. An internationally recognised biomedical engineer, Patricia has spent her career developing innovative medical devices and bioelectronic sensing technologies for healthcare applications. She is a Fellow of both the Royal Society of Edinburgh and the Royal Academy of Engineering, and founded Ohmedics to commercialise pioneering research in wearable diagnostics and sensing technologies.

Having founded and led several successful biotechnology businesses, Simon brings extensive expertise in commercialisation, investment, strategic partnerships and taking scientific innovation from research to market. His experience helps guide Ohmedics’ commercial strategy and future growth.

Wilma McDaniel is an internationally recognised beauty and personal care expert with more than 30 years’ experience working with global brands across product innovation, ingredient development and commercial strategy. As Board Advisor for Beauty & Personal Care, Wilma helps shape Ohmedics’ expansion into new markets, identifying opportunities for collaboration with beauty brands, formulators and commercial partners while ensuring the technologies are positioned to meet evolving industry needs.

Manufacturing Advisor
Dr Louise Gray is a Senior Knowledge Exchange Fellow at the University of Strathclyde with extensive experience in IVD medical devices, spanning R&D, manufacturing and technology transfer.
Her experience includes taking medical devices from development through to commercial launch, alongside expertise in regulated manufacturing and supply chain management.
